 Cultivating creativity in the Northeast Kingdom
The Art House is a center for community and the arts on Craftsbury Common, Vermont.
In addition to a fine arts gallery, an artisan gift shop, and studio space, we teach classes and hold public events.
In January 2010, The Art House teamed up with Stardust Books and Cafe, also on Craftsbury Common, to become a non-profit organization. The name of this new organization is The Common Place, a center for the arts, literacy, and community gatherings serving the Northeast Kingdom and surrounding communities. As we move into our third year of operation, we have renovated the former Craftsbury Public Library to house our cafe, gift shop, gallery, and classroom in one convenient location.
