Hester Curtis: Assimilation
June1 - August 31

Late artist Hester Curtis created a series of acrylic paintings on paper depicting the travels of a character who bares a striking resemblance to Alice through space and time. The series was intended to include 49 works, but only a little over 25 were completed before Curtis passed away. These paintings, along with an accordion-fold folio of the works, and other assorted works including frescoes and her very early works, are on exhibit in the gallery.

David Rogers, local writer and longtime friend of the Curtis family, will speak about the works on Friday, July 9, 2010.
Gallery open Fridays and Saturdays 10:30 am - 4:30 pm. Also by appointment.
